Cozily decorated apartment with an area of 52 sqm. Separate entrance. Sleeping room with one double bed, living room with a double sofa bed and dining table, cable TV and radio, well equipped kitchen including, i.a., an electric kettle, coffee machine, fridge and separate freezer and microwave oven. Bathroom with bath tub and separate storeroom. In front of the apartment, there is garden furniture inviting you to enjoy the sun and the marvellous view. Also included are a parking lot, visitors' tax, all bedding, bed linen, kitchen cloths, electricity, water, heating, final cleaning. If advised, we can pick you up from the station, buy fresh bred rolls for you in the mornings, you can buy beverages from us and we do food shopping for you, if you want to. Pets are welcome, too.

Your apartment is situated in a very quiet area of the village at the end of a blind alley. All windows are facing south. The apartment is an ideal starting point for various beautiful hikes and rambles, nordic walking tours, cross-country skiing...
A pharmacy, shops, banks, sauna facilities, an indoor swimming pool as well as possibilities to use a health resort are very close and may be easily reached on foot.

If the weather is appropriate you have a wonderful view of the Black Forest landscape and the Swiss Alps.

Höchenschwand, the "Village above in the Sky", consists of a central village and ten minor places forming part of the municipality. All of the spots have one thing in common: the uncomparably beautiful situation on a plateau that is inclined to the south and the magnificent view.

The village of Höchenschwand offers a wide variety of leisure activities to all holiday-makers. Be it hiking on well signposted pathes - particularly attractive in autumn - cross-country skiing in winter on well prepared courses around the village and the different parts of it, playing tennis outside or in a modern indoor tennis complex with three courts or swimming in the heated outdoor swimming pool.

Cultural leisure activities are offered in the guests' house "Haus des Gastes": folkloristic evenings accompanied with music played by the local bands and dance groups, folkloristic theatre, concerts on Sunday mornings, and much more.
