A WARM WELCOME

Breathe deeply and relax while enjoying every single step along the walks in the National Park Northern Black Forest. Simmersfeld, a health resort with particularly good air, is situated on the elevations of the northern part of the Black Forest, surrounded by endless woods and colourful meadows. Beautifully laid out and excellently signposted cycling – and trekking paths, several ski lifts (one of which is equipped with floodlight), cross-country courses, a toboggan run, tennis courts, bicycles for hire, riding facilities and a Nordic walking park all contribute to making Simmersfeld the perfect holiday resort for the entire family, throughout the year.

Holidaymakers looking for carefree days in the lovely countryside of the Black Forest will be very well looked after at the Hoffmann family’s guesthouse, where a more than 100-year tradition of making guests feel welcome is being continued. Every provision has been made to ensure a relaxing holiday in an informal and pleasant atmosphere. Guests may enjoy the comfort of well-appointed, cosily furnished rooms, all with en-suite facilities and most with their own balconies. Those that need to recover from their physical exertions may like to recharge there batteries in our stylish sauna. Various kinds of wellness massage including ayurveda may also be booked (24 hours notice). A comfortable lounge is available as well, where delicatessen of the local cuisine, a fine selection of wines or beers on draught will be served for lunch or dinner. Guests who have a sweet tooth may look forward to homemade cakes in the afternoon, too.

Our region provides a varied leisure programme, and Simmersfeld is centrally located for numerous excursions to destinations near and far. We know all the inside tips and special features and will be very pleased to pass that knowledge on to our guests. On Tuesdays guided cycling or trekking tours will be arranged by the hosts (on request).
