Welcome in the south of the Black Forest !

We invite you at our Haus am Wald to have comfortable and recreative holidays. At all seasons you can relax and dangle your soul in a familar atmorsphere.
Enjoy the original nature and the clear air on hiking tours and excursions to the Hotzenwald and thereby you can become acquainted with culinary delicacies and typically traditional and cultural offers of the region.

Our non-smoker house is located close the woodside in the district Egg. The community Rickenbach is a central starting point for undertakings to the proximity and in the distance.
Our guest rooms are equipped with shower/toilette/telephone. Furthermore a lounge and a completely equipped guest kitchen are placed on you disposal. You can hear the latest from the day in the TV room. Silence to read? There you go - it is possible on your terrace in front of your room or in the garden under firs. An alternation is ping pong or a social barbecue. Our kids can play withour worrying in the garden or can undertake a ramble to the near forest-experience path. (Reductions for children will be granted).

Diversified events and leisure programmes for young and old people answer your wishes. Whether at the miniature golf, on a walk with a crouch, at typical village fair or on full moon hiking tours. You can relax in the thermal springs of Bad Säckingen and the forest bath offers refection and fun.
You can ramble about Freiburg and enjoy the view of the Schauinsland.
The attractions at the Europa Park Rust are not only for our kids.
You should include in your programme an excursion to Herrischried to the Klausenhof with the bordering herb garden, a visit of the dome and of the town St. Blasien, a shipping on the Schluchsee or on the Rhine, a hiking tour or ropeway ride on the Feldberg and a visit of our neighbours. A day trip to the Switzerland, to the Rhine Falls, to the Vierwaldstättersee or on the Pilatur near Luzern, a visit of the historic district of Basel and a trip to France in the Vosges are recommendable.
