Multifaceted, child-friendly farm in the southern Black Forest on 750m², 15km from Switzerland, at the foot of Fürstenberg (Alp panorama at approx. 950m). Dairy farming and agriculture are the pillars of our biologically dynamic managed business since 1981. Enjoy the 'most beautiful days of the year' here and experience unforgettable moments.

The spacious holiday home of 84m², 2 bedrooms, one lavish living room and an integrated kitchen with dishwasher invites you. (BBQ-extra bed upon request). Numerous picnic destinations are available in our region (further Info upon request). Horses, milk cows, calves, sheep, goats and chickens look forward to a change. Riding lessons possible on our own farm horses, as well as driving the tractor and milking with the farmer. (you may assist on the farm) Our farm cheese dairy delivers fresh raw milk cheese of the finest quality. Breakfast or sandwich service can be booked for that.

Sumpfohren is a district of Hüfingen. It is an ideal starting point for day trips into the Black Forest, to Lake Constance and into Switzerland. Hüfingen has approx. 7,700 inhabitants. A classic rehabilitated town center invites you to a stroll and stay awhile. Shopping opportunities are provided in both the interior as well as in the shopping centers on the outskirts. The newly rehabilitated families- and open-air bath with sauna offers the best facilities for swimming and relaxing. Numerous hiking trails offer the opportunity to undertake extensive hikes. A hike in the wildly romantic Gauchachschlucht or on the 950 m high Fürstenberg makes every hikers heart leap for joy. Orchid trails, herb trails, nature trails and a geological educational trail offers a change as well as information to the vacationer. Even the bicyclists get their money's worth on a well designed road network. The city museum for art and history, as well as the Roman bath ruins invite you to visit. Enjoy.

Recommended house
Even in 2007, we were visited by nice families from the whole of Europe. Here, families meet each other, children understand each other and undertake much together. Riding, milking, cycling, bathing and much more. The parents go out to eat, visit the interesting picnic spots and can actively help in the farm.
