Explore the eventful and unspoiled Simonswald and our surroundings in the southern Black Forest on leisurely walking and hiking trails with your parents or grandparents. You will receive a stamp on your stamp card for each day of hiking. And if you get 3 stamps or more, you'll receive a little surprise! Have fun hiking!
Our farm is located in the peaceful and sunny Griesbachtal, a beautiful side valley of the Simonswäldertal, surrounded by meadows and pastures by a quiet mountain stream.
The Schingerhof is a typical Black Forest farm with lots of forest and 10 hectares of grassland and is run as a sideline.
It has been in the family for over 300 years and has been run by us since 1981.
We were recently awarded the title of "family-friendly host" for our vacation farm. It is an award in the Baden Württemberg state competition "Family Holidays", in which we convinced the jury of Tourismus Marketing GmbH and DEHOGA.

Our vacation apartments in the separate guest house or in the courtyard building are comfortable, bright and furnished with lots of wood, simply with a lot of love. They all have a living room or bed-sitting room, shower/WC, kitchens with fitted kitchens, some with dishwasher, one or two separate bedrooms, satellite TV and balcony or terrace with a view of the Black Forest mountains. On request, Mrs. Hug offers you a free bread roll service. You can also get our homemade jam, country butter and organic eggs.

Airberlin/Easyjet flies from almost all over Europe to the nearest airport Basel/Mülhouse (90 minutes by car), where Sixt and Hertz offer inexpensive rental cars. We wish you a pleasant journey: Have a good trip!

In the stable Our ponies Jenny, Jack
and Wico enjoy a visit from the children in the stable. Our cats Annabella, Tiger and Minka romp around in the feeding corridor. Our rabbits are looking forward to a few strokes and our rooster Paul walks around the yard with the chickens. Hildegard and Rosaline our pot-bellied pigs and the dwarf goats Hanni and Nanni and Frieda and Lara enjoy the sun in the large enclosure.
