Haus Wußler, the modern guest-house of our traditional Black Forest Farm of 1839, was built in 1992. It is surrounded by meadows and located next to the forest with nice trails for walking, hiking and also mountainbiking.
Relax in our comfortable and fully equipped holiday apartments of different sizes, i.e. "Swallow's Nest", "Panoramic View" and "Garden Terrace" with balcony or terrace / garden, satellite-TV and -radio, Internet-access / WIFI (free of charge) as well as in our traditional Black Forest holiday-farmhouse "Valley View" for max. 6 persons, 120 sqm with 3 bedrooms.
In addition to the large sun-terrace with a splendid panoramic view of the Kinzig Valley, our guests will also enjoy the garden areas, meadows, barbecue site, the playgrounds, our ponies and other animals as well as the beautiful nature and the relaxation in a quiet and peaceful place.
The historic, medieval town-centre of Gengenbach, Central Black Forest, is only 3 km away. There are many shops, supermarkets, restaurants, inns, pubs, wine taverns and cafés, museums, cultural events, concerts, spas as well as facilities for sports and fitness, the large outdoor swimming pools "Die Insel" (admission free of charge for our guests), traditional celebrations, beer and wine-festivals, the evening tour with the traditional Night Watchman (Nachtwächter) and the "Largest Advent-Calendar House of the World" with a picturesque Christmas market, events, music and the opening of a new "window" every night during the Advent season in December.
And last not least:
When staying at our place, you will receive the "Black Forest Guest-Card with KONUS" (Schwarzwald-Gästekarte mit "KONUS") which provides various discounts, for instance, in case of admission charges, all over the Black Forest.
That card is also a FREE TICKET (public transport of persons) for regional "KONUS" trains and buses.
