Discover the charming holiday home Schwarzwaldhof zur Seidenweberei in Görwihl, in the southern Black Forest near the Swiss border. Built as a historic Black Forest farm in 1800, it was later expanded to include a silk weaving mill – as was common practice in the Black Forest at the time, supplying silk ribbons and scarves to Basel. Today, the two bedrooms and the shower room are located on the ground floor. The house was lovingly renovated and refurbished in the 1980s.
This spacious holiday home offers 350 m² of living space for up to 10 guests in 5 cozy bedrooms and 3 modern bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, and an additional shower in the pool room. Enjoy the numerous amenities this property has to offer: A double garage and additional parking spaces on the property provide ample space for your vehicles. The well-kept garden invites you to relax and enjoy a barbecue. Every day, you can refresh yourself in the property's indoor pool and enjoy the sun on the terrace or in a lounge chair behind the large glass windows. On cooler evenings, the historic tiled stove in the living room provides cozy warmth and comfort.
For wellness lovers, there is a sauna where you can relax after an eventful day in the Black Forest. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, fully automatic coffee machine, induction hob, oven, egg cooker, toaster, and plenty of cooking and baking utensils. Bed linens, towels, and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own bathrobes and slippers, as well as sauna towels. Four TVs, a washing machine and a dryer are also available, as well as an additional fridge-freezer. Various books and board games are also available.
Families with small children will find a crib and highchair in this holiday home, as well as children's cutlery and crockery. Wi-Fi, an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in every bathroom are also included. A vacuum cleaner is available on every floor.
Please note that the holiday home is non-smoking. Furthermore, the Schwarzwaldhof is not a party location! An initial supply of consumables for the first 2-3 days, such as dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, will be provided.
The house offers space in the converted attic for seminars, yoga groups, and similar events.
