Baumkronenweg

Tree-top walk at a height of 23 m

At a lofty height of 23 metres, you are at eye level with the tops of the local trees, an unusual yet impressive perspective on the Black Forest.

The way there leads over a 200-metre-long barrier-free wooden-steel construction that takes you to a total of 4 observation towers and gives you a very special view of the region. From the treetop path, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, the Rhine Valley, the Kaiserstuhl and even across to France to the Vosges Mountains.

In addition to the breathtaking hiking experience, the treetop trail also offers a knowledge game, group experiences and a barefoot and adventure trail, making the excursion an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Children can let off steam and play on a climbing playground.

The sensory trail, which leads visitors through the forest to the treetop trail, is itself a true nature experience. Here you get to know the forest in a new way with all your five senses and a focused awareness. The many little secrets and inhabitants of the forest are perceived in a new and more conscious way on the way to the treetop path.
For the crowning finale, the brave can experience the special thrill of the high-speed tube slide and be transported back to the starting point with a shotgun blast.

Visitors to the treetop trail can use the barbecue areas by appointment and end the day with a small barbecue and delicious food.

You should plan about 2 hours for a visit to the treetop trail or the sensory trail (without a stop or rest). Enjoy this unique nature experience and explore the beauty of the Black Forest from a completely new perspective.
