Glas Museum
Glass is one of the oldest materials. The most famous piece is probably an about 5.500 year old bead shown in the Museum in Berlin.
You can walk through 2000 years of glassmaking history at the Dorotheenhütte Glass Museum. You will witness the various development stages of the glass history, the different styles of past eras, the growth of glass artistry as well as glass blowing tools.
Contemporary exhibits show the use of glass in medicine and music.
