Museum of local history Heimethus

"Heimethus" is a rustic Black Forest house from 1820, operated by the Förderverein Heimatmuseum und Geschichte e. V.. In the folk collection it conveys more than 700 years of local history from the founding of the town to modern times. During a tour of the house, visitors gain an insight into the living and working conditions of the people at that time. The living room with tiled stove and Herrgottswinkel as well as the bedroom behind it have been preserved in their original form. Large museum rooms trace different periods of local history. Probably the most valuable room is the sacral one, which breathes the spirit of centuries of church and pilgrimage. Also worth seeing are the "Fürbühni" and the glass carrier room.
