Todtnauberg, a charming mountain village in the heart of the southern Black Forest, offers winter sports enthusiasts a varied ski area at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,400 meters. Located on the south side of the Feldberg, the area benefits from numerous sunny days and breathtaking views over the snow-covered heights of the Black Forest.
Variety of slopes and lifts
The Todtnauberg ski area has a total of 12.7 kilometers of groomed slopes, which are accessible via 6 lifts. The slopes are distributed as follows:
- 3.4 km of easy pistes
- 9.3 km of medium-difficulty pistes
- 6.8 km of ski routes
In addition to the groomed slopes, the area also offers unprepared ski routes for the more adventurous. The lift facilities consist mainly of T-bar lifts, supplemented by a SunKid conveyor belt, which is used both as a practice lift and a toboggan lift.
Special attractions- Floodlit skiing: Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, floodlit skiing is possible on the Kapellenlift from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
- Dwarf forest run: A gentle descent through the forest, especially for children, with fairytale figures at the edge of the piste.
- Beginner Funpark: For freestylers and snowboarders there is a funpark for practicing tricks.
- Guaranteed snow: Thanks to a snowmaking system and a reservoir, good snow conditions are guaranteed.
Family friendlinessTodtnauberg is particularly family-friendly. Child-friendly lifts, a spacious practice area and a toboggan slope ensure fun for younger guests. The “Zwergen Waldbahn” offers a special experience for children.
Prices and opening timesA day ticket in the main season costs €37 for adults, €24 for teenagers and €13 for children. The ski area is usually open from mid-December to the end of March, with daily opening hours from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Arrival and parkingTodtnauberg is easy to reach by car. Parking spaces at the lifts are free of charge. The nearest towns are:
