Steinwasenpark, located in the heart of the Black Forest, is a popular destination for families and nature lovers. This 36-hectare leisure park offers a unique combination of nature experiences and leisure attractions that delight visitors of all ages.

Steinwasenpark has a wide range of attractions that provide excitement and entertainment:

• Adventure rope bridge: The highlight of the park is the 218-metre-long and 30-metre-high suspension bridge, which is considered the longest adventure rope bridge in the world.
• Ride attractions: Visitors can look forward to two 800-meter-long summer toboggan runs, the “Gletscherblitz” roller coaster, the “River Splash” white water channel and the “Spacerunner”.
• Animal park: Over 30 different animal species live in extensive enclosures, including red deer, lynx, wild boar and marmots.
• Indoor area: “Luxi's Kinderland” offers children aged 2 to 14 a climbing park, slides and other play opportunities.
• Cultural offers: The Black Forest Museum displays true-to-original model constructions of Black Forest houses, while a 4D cinema and a fairytale cinema provide additional entertainment.

Directions and practical information
Steinwasenpark is located around 20 km east of Freiburg and is easy to reach:

• By car: take the A5, exit Freiburg-Mitte (No. 62) or Freiburg-Süd (No. 63). Then follow the B31 towards Titisee-Neustadt via Kirchzarten to Oberried.
• Opening hours: The park is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm in high season. Opening hours may vary in the low season.
• Admission prices: Adults pay EUR 25, reduced tickets cost EUR 21. The price includes the zoo, the suspension bridge and all attractions.

Special information

• The park is on winter break from 04.11.2024 to April 2025.
• Some attractions such as the chairlift and the summer toboggan run are temporarily closed due to renovation work. A new compact cable car is scheduled to open in spring 2025.
• Dogs on a lead are welcome in the park.
• The Steinwasen Stube restaurant, a self-service bistro and various kiosks in the park provide refreshments.
