For more than 100 years, one of Germany's most advanced funicular railways has transported passengers from the centre of Bad Wildbad up to the picturesque high plateau of the Sommerberg. Once at the top, 300 metres above the valley, a breathtaking view awaits you.

The mountain railway is designed to be completely barrier-free and there is a lift at your disposal in the mountain station. From the Sommerberg you can start numerous nature experiences, adventures, relaxing walks, hikes as well as cycling and mountain bike tours.
